Retailers association of India (rai) delegation had a meeting with Hon Agricultural Secretary, Shri Bijay Kumar in regard to procurement of toor daal from Government of Maharashtra. The toor will be milled by Maharashtra State Co-op. Marketing Federation Ltd. (MarkFed) through millers and will be supplied to National Commodity and Derivative Exchange (NCDEX) for distribution of the toor dal to the RAI retailer members through their channel. RAI members shall provide a consolidated list of region wise requirement along with the quality of the toor dal to Hon Deputy Secretary, Shri S S Supe. The Government has assured creation of a seamless method for procuring the toor dal and resolution of issues which prevailed previously in the exercise.

GST interactive session in Mumbai on 15th June 2017 RAI is organising an interactive session on Goods and Service Tax (GST) Act with a view to educate the retail fraternity for smooth implementation of GST.
